Founded in 2016 by Drew Upchurch, Modus Construction was built on a simple belief:
Do fewer projects — and do them exceptionally well.
We’re not a volume builder chasing scale. We’re a boutique construction management firm that values craftsmanship, collaboration, and trust above all else. Every project we take on receives our full attention and hands-on leadership from start to finish.

About the Founder
Drew Upchurch, Founder and President of Modus Construction, brings more than 23 years of hands-on experience across architecture, engineering, and construction. His career began in the field as a carpenter and evolved through roles as a designer, homebuilder, and project manager for large-scale commercial firms before launching Modus in 2016.
With a degree in Architecture from the University of Oklahoma, Drew blends design sensitivity with deep technical expertise. He personally guides each project from preconstruction through completion — ensuring decisions are made quickly, communication stays transparent, and craftsmanship always meets his exacting standards.
His leadership style reflects the Modus ethos: thoughtful, grounded, and driven by results that endure.
