Completed in 2021, Modus Construction revitalized a historic downtown Edmond building at 2nd and Broadway—once home to the Edmond Evening Sun newspaper—into the new offices for Grant Group Commercial Real Estate Services. The 6,200-square-foot renovation restored the building to its original shell before reimagining it as a modern, light-filled workplace that celebrates the structure’s original architectural character. 

As part of the transformation, Modus coordinated the installation of the iconic Route 66 neon sign, a striking addition that anchors the corner and welcomes visitors into the heart of Edmond’s downtown district. The project stands as both a thoughtful restoration and a catalyst for continued reinvestment in the city’s historic core.
